I have been running fanlistings since sometime back in 2002 and they have been hosted various places. To begin with I was hosted with GeoCities, but they bothered me too much - which resulted in me getting my very first domain, strength-within.org, which was a personal site with a subdomain for my fanlisting collective.

Of course I got bored of the domain name (and the host!) after a few years and so I finally took the big step to move everything to a new host, SurpassHosting.com, and to a new domain, cutepoison.org.

Eventually I ended up bored of that domain name as well and so I purchased flying-free.org in August 2007.

My fanlistings stayed there, until I (once again) got bored with the domain name and decided to get a new one. I ended up getting bite-me.net in January 2009, which I loved a lot in the beginning, but quickly got extremely annoyed with. It just didn't look or sound right D: I never got around to getting my fanlisting collective up either, only the fanlistings.

I had originally planned on using chasing-lights.net, which I purchased in October 2008 - but then before I moved everything, I decided on bite-me.net instead. I realised that while I still loved Chasing Lights and wanted to use it as my collective domain, it just felt more right as an .org domain, so I purchased the .org domain in May 2009. I finally got around to getting my collective up and running again on the 21st of May 2009, after a looooong absence. I also decided to move almost all my fanlistings here, instead of having them spread around on mini-collective domains. This will be my last fanlisting collective domain, I won't be moving everything again :) And I love the domain name, so yay! <3

Below is a list of the fanlisting collective domains I have had over the years, and in the parentheses is the inspiration for the name:

• strength-within.org (Westlife)
• cutepoison.org (Prison Break)
• flying-free.org (Wicked)
• bite-me.net (Twilight/vampires)
• chasing-lights.org (The Saturdays)
